Spent the afternoon cutting Oak

Anybody still having winter? We are. Snow is in our forecast for the next few days.
So, I brought another load to the porch. I'm still splitting. DM

Getting a jump on putting my oak wood in the barn for the winter. I cut this 1/2 cord this week. Some of it needs splitting. It will be ready to burn by late October. DM

always helped me in many ways. this thread brings back some memories. I used to help him post his pictures back when this thread started.

may he RIP. ill miss him. he's in a better place now, but I'd prefer he was still here with us.
