SPETSNAZ Special Forces Shovel Custom Sheath

Hi folks,

I recently acquired the larger version of the Special Forces shovel, and found out that my extra sheath didn’t fit.
Not wanting the VERY SHARP edges to slice open the inside of the truck, I broke out the kydex press [SQUISH-A-TRON 4OOO] and made a sheath.








I haven’t decided how to mount to vehicle yet, I’ll update when it’s figured out.

Thanks! I made this one from 0.093” stock, so it’s pretty beefy. In hindsight, 0.080 would have been fine.

It does snap in nicely with the thicker stuff, though.

my machete slides between my split seats. Probably easiest to rest the shovel on the floor board somewhere and secure the handle some way. That's a sweet sheath

Found perfect spot in the Jeep, it slots in like it was made for it.

I made a custom-length bungee with some good 4mm core stuff, and it doesn’t budge.
