July issue of Tactical Knives shows a sweet looking Spydie butterfly. I can't wait to get my hands on one of these!

Is this a new knife? I believe that Spyderco has in the past manufactured three different butterfly style knives, the Spyderfly, the Szabofly, and the Smallfly.

If it was one of these, I think they are all OOP (at least, none of them are listed on the Spyderco website) although FWIW there do still appear to be some on-line retailers who list them as in-stock.

You might also check in the Spyderco section of the Manufacturers forum, Sal can probably give you a definitive answer on availability.

due to some sort of legality spydero only lists their balisongs in their automatic knife catalog. the smallfly and szabofly are both still in production, the spyderfly is discontinued.
