Spyderco Bug

Who here has a Spyderco bug? The little thing. I just got mine today and I must say it is way smaller than it looked in all of the YouTube videos. Regardless, it is a cool little knife, I believe every knife enthusiast should own one. What do u think of yours?
 
If ya look around on the internet ya can find the entire Bug series, the Bug, Ladybug and Grasshopper for a little over a Jackson.

For a little over the cost of a meal for two at Applebees ya get the set of three, I got 'em and for what ya pay for 'em they're actually made pretty well, tight, good snap, sharp outta the box.

I'd say if ya like Spydercos to start with, you're gonna get it anyway and if you're not sure,I don't think you'll be disappointed, bear in mind, these are made in China.

I have the three pack mentioned and have not used any of them. The two smaller ones are tiny but the Grasshopper is one I may carry. I like them all because I like Spyderco so much. Just got their new catalogs yesterday.

I like your swivel, homemade or bought?

I used to wear my Mini Police around my neck but because of the value and rarity of the Titanium Mini Police necklace,I now wear the Bug on a chain around my neck but I need some sort of swivel so it did right on the chain.
 
Too small for me. I got a Lady bug instead. In ZDP-189 :cool: muahaha!
Perfect keys knife.
 
I have one tethered to my cell phone. It's an old Samsung flip style and happened to have a hole in the case for a strap. Very handy little knife. I use it a lot more than I thought I would.

I love it, I put it on my keys and I don't even notice it hangin' there. I totally forgot I had it until I saw this thread haha
 
I have the set. I didnt realize it was so small either. I use a ladybug on my keychain which i think is perfect. The bug set are some cool little knives though.
 
I soooo wish all the bugs were available in VG10. I would own every single one of them.
 
Sal mentioned, in a similar thread a year or two ago, plans to upgrade the steel in the Bug series to BD-1, if my memory serves me well. Apparently, this has remained a plan to date. The Bug is one of my favorites too, I'd love to see it in a higher grade steel.
