I'm looking to trade my Spyderco Caly in ZDP-189 and carbon fiber. I absolutely love this knife and I know I'll regret gidding rid of it but I've caught the trading bug again and I'll go insane if I don't.
This is a stunning knife. It carries extremely well and cuts even better! It does have some wear though. The logo side has a few small scratches (kind of like a mix between scuffs and scratches. HArd to explain) and the side with Sal's signature has some going horizontally down the blade. The reason they are there is because the steel they use to sandwhich the ZDP189 (420J2) is very soft so it will get scratched easier than normal steels. They don't always show up though. You got to get it in the right light to see them. The backlock has some scratches/wear marks towards the ramp of the blade as well. The knife locks up solid. I can squeeze a bit of play side to side but you can tighten the pivot to alleviate that. I can barely get any up/down play out of it. I have to really push and it barely moves. This has the best lockup of any backlock I've owned by far.
The knife has been sharpened to 12 degrees per side on my Edge Pro up to the 3K grit polishing tapes with a 30 degree inclusive tertiary (micro) bevel and it's crazy sharp. This knife is by far the best slicer I have. It opens buttery smooth and it's perfectly centered.
I'll get some detailed pics tomorrow (It's dark and snowing here ATM) but here's some to hold you over.

Here's a pic of the scratches. You can kind of see them. The two spots by Sals sig are gone now. It was just residue from something I cut.
Since this knife has a little bit of wear, I'm willing to go down a bit in price but PLEASE don't low ball me. I will not answer any lowball offers.
