Turns out I never had a Delica but on a whim I got one of the new Delica 4 back lock folders with titanium handles and a beautiful Damascus blade. It arrived last night and I think I'm going to carry it regularly for a while. Helps that the blade length is under 3 inches for L.A. Will do some comparison pictures later today with similarly sized Spydercos.

Beautiful and the blade is extra sharp! Nice touch to clear-coat cover the titanium handles to prevent scratches during transportation. Spydie hole is too sharp. No cuts but some of my thumb calluses came off!

Curious to see how it stacks up against my Caly 3. Seems to have a similarly slim profile.

Nice score! Having never had a Delica myself I've always been interested in picking one up but after the comparison picks it looks like the Caly 3 might suit me more. Thanks for the comparison shot.

Personally, Caly 3 is the best Spyderco 3" EDC folder. A lot has to do with its slim, thin and narrow profile plus the CF scales and ZDP-189 blade. A great practical package! :thumbup:
