Spyderco DLC Millie Magnacut available at the SFO

I still can't decide if I like the look of the scales or not 😂 they do look less likely to ever slip out of a hand
 
I want this one.... the Millie 2 seems like a winner. Only thing that bugs me is the blade seems a bit narrower over the original one. Am I imagining it?

Still in box. I haven’t decided on type of aftermarket scales, Metonboss and AWT don’t make M2 versions yet! I’ve already got Titanium scales on my S30V so I’m not going that route.
 
How often do these come back in stock at SFO? I missed out but it's been a month since they've sold out.

I too am an OpFocus member. An anecdote...

After the DLC PM2 Magnacut came out, I waited for the SFO to get some uncoated ones in. When they were finally released (March of last year IIRC), the SFO literally got only a few and they sold out immediately. I inquired about when more would be arriving and was told that while there was no guarantee, folks that worked at the SFO were realistically expecting to see them within a few months at most and that I should check back to the SFO towards the end of every week. That was almost a year ago, and they have NOT gotten any into the SFO since that initial release so far as I know. I finally found one for sale here on the exchange for just over what I would pay at the SFO. I gladly picked it up bc I was sick and tired of waiting and checking. Before that, I had called the SFO to get an update and the guy I talked with basically said nobody knew when they would be available and that he would not even hazard a guess.

The point of all this is that my time is valuable, at least to me, and is certainly a lot more valuable than the $10 I'll save on a magnacut Millie by waiting months for the SFO to get something in assuming they get any more at all. The SFO will charge you shipping, National Knives will not. Additionally, I am told that some knives the SFO gets in are designated for walk-ins only and do not appear available online. That makes National Knives the winner in my book, especially if the knife is available now. Obviously you can do what you want, but for a measley $10 extra or so, my $ is going to National Knives.
 
Thanks for that info, my gut gave .e a similar feeling as I never see anything Magnacut in stock for long. How do you get the national knives discount after adding to cart?

You need an account - then login, add to cart, and it will deduct an additional 10%. Total is $203.59 including sales tax and free shipping. I just ordered it. NK is a great store.
