Spyderco Flipper

The vid was sweet. The anticipation builds!

As for the G10 lockstop, I'm not concerned. G10 has been used for lightweight bike frames and in aerospace applications, it's strong stuff.

I'm really excited about this. I love flippers but sometimes you want a slow deployment, the spyderco hole is perfect for controlling the opening

Well I'm sold on this one. Time to preorder!
Looks like a great edc sized folder and being Spydercos first flipper this is a must have.

I want one even more badly after that video. I really love my Vantage, but the Spyderco/Southard flipper collaboration is going to be real serious competition for pocket time.

In the end, the collaborators designs must be respected.

And for my money Spyderco does do better than any other production knife company out there

They do indeed! On nearly every other knife, there's a moveable clip. To sad the designer didn't think of that.
But it still looks awesome!

It looks like it will be fairly light for a frame-lock design.I wonder what the street price will be?

Im in. I think it will fit in nicely.

I don't think the g10 stop will be an issue, all it's doing is preventing over travel, plenty of frame locks don't have stops at all
