I like Spyderco knives and own a number of them. Their appeal to me is entirely for their ergonomics - they open easily, feel good in the hand, and cut well. But they don't really appeal to me esthetically: the blades are too wide, in order to accomodate the Spydie hole. The best looking knives are made by other manufacturers. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else had a similar opinion. Again, I'm not not knocking Spyderco knives - they are great cutting tools, in the same way that a Jeep is a great vehicles for off-road driving, but don't look nearly as cool as a Jaguar (or pick your favorite car).
