Hey y'all,
Got a modded Schempp Bowie up for sale today. The horn on top was deleted so it's a much more slim and appealing silhouette, and you can choke up much more effectively as well, it's a huge improvement to the utility of the knife imho. The knife has been used, brass is patina'd, and a choil added to the blade. Nice washer action, good centering, solid lockup. The detent is a little light (all Schempp Bowies have this distinction), but you could add a ceramic ball or tweak detent hole if that bothers you. Works fine for me. Edge currently cuts paper fine but could use a sharpening if you want to shave hairs. Comes with beat-up box.
Sad to see her go, and since she's been discontinued it'll probably be the last one I see, but y'all know how it goes. Asking $140 G&S shipped for this beauty.
Hoping this goes straight into someone's pocket to continue to get the use she deserves. Holler with any questions, goes to first public "I'll take it" in the thread.
