I'm new here, so I'm curious to know. When I see posts like this outside of the "trades" forum, is it against the rules/or unbecoming of me, to ask if the seller is interested in trades? Sorry if this is not allowed, just curious.

It depends on the OP. This one says not interested in trades, but some do. Or will state, FS and WTT... Willing to trade...
