Photos Spyderco Urban Lightweight K390 Custom Scales Pictorial

Sorry only had time for the pictorial before dinner. So I love my Urban Lightweights. I'm really loving K390 since I grabbed a fixed blade from a forum knife maker second hand. Combine both and shazam Urban Lightweight K390.
But the handles just don't stand up to the steel, so I posed the question weeks ago, whose changed their scales.......mostly crickets.
A little Googlefu, BF Reading and Cuscadi showed up. A few emails back and forth on available materials and Vintage Natural Micarta and Grooved Carbon Fiber scales ordered and recently delivered. Loving these two Urban Lightweights even more......

Sweet man, those are awesome!! 
Been thinking about delving into custom scales for a few of my favorites latley. Plan to go with Para2 scales first, but the Urban and UKPK are 2 of my most carried knives and will be at the top of the list after that.
I just need to stop buying new knives long enough to afford them lol.
