All of my favorite Spydies are from Taichung. Things are made in China. Things of quality are made in the US. Things of the utmost quality seem to be made in Taiwan.

I just got a Domino in the mail yesterday as my first Taichung Spyderco. Super impressed with the build quality. I can't find a single thing to fault.

I own 13 of those, not counting a couple of duplicates, and a couple that I have moved on. So I guess I must agree with you!

Updated Post #1 with the newly Discontinued Taichung folders: Des Horn, Navaja, Sage4 and Tuff.

Have a blue weave domino a Gayle Bradley and a vallotton and they are high quality Taichung spydies.

I picked up a Domino with the black checkered weave. Nice knife. How has the CTS-XHP steel been working out? I do not have much time on mine yet. Good? Bad? Just fine? Awesome?

My domino with cts-xhp will sharpen to a razors edge. It will lose that hair popping sharpness fairly quick but will keep a pretty sharp working edge for quite a while. Wouldn't say I work it hard mainly cardboard and such but I like the steel.

I always have to laugh when somebody posts about not buying any of "those Spydercos made in Taiwan". They really do not understand what they are missing. The Taiwanese Spydercos are some of the best production knives in the world. I have the Gayle Bradley, Sage 1, Southard and the Nilakka and cannot get over the fit and finish. I have to admire the symbiotic relationship that Spyderco has with their Taiwanese partners - you can tell that they are on the same page. I understand the Slysz Bowie may be making an appearance at my house this Christmas and I can hardly wait.

Thanks for the list. I just recieved a gayle bradley couple days ago. I'd put up there with knives in the $400 dollar range, just beautiful knife. Looking for my next Spyderco Taichung folder.

I thought the Gayle Bradley was announced as discontinued, did something change or did I misunderstand?

No there still making the Gayle Bradley. Pg. 74 of the 2015 catalog. I would be one sad dude if they discontinued that one.

Just got a now discontinued Sage 4, and it's as impeccably made as my Sage 1, GB and Domino. Taichung Spyderco's rock!
