That most people don’t realize what it involves making a knife (or anything). I get emails asking about ordering a knife, so I reply back with a price quote. Then they email me back with a lower price. Good times!
I think the guys (and girls) who have attended my knife making class know it’s not as easy as they thought it would be.

Having made a few myself, I can attest to the time, effort, and level of skill it takes to make a good and good looking knife.

When I attended your knife making class, I was astounded at how much work was involved, and the general public is completely clueless as to all that goes into a finished product.

The average person has no clue because we live in a give it to me now disposable society. They have no idea how much time and effort goes in to quality products. People tend to forget that these are not your crap made gas stations that dull after spreading butter on your bread. These are knives that are made one at a time with lots of love and a mans heart and soul put into each one.
