I placed an order for a satin trit thumbstud and trit axis lock over a month ago. After a week I looked to contact customer servive for tracking. Thats when the GR site stated all shipping was paused due to a system being down. (But it still took my money with no notification of paused shipping) so I emailed customer service they said its coming and ignored my request for tracking.

BTW I live 1 hr away from them and they have no storefront. Fast forward a few days my package arrives im excited and get the thumstud on immediately, then I notice that the axis lock is crushed.

I immediately took photos and wrote an email back to customer service stating that I'm unhappy and that the right way to fix it is to overnight me a new part. I got no response for 2 days. I emailed again stating I was unhappy and would be leaving honest reviews about this. I got an email saying "I thought I responded to u" and "we are gonna take care of it" no tracking no nothing. Its now been over a month since my initial order, 2 weeks since getting that damaged part and no response at all to my further inquiries from Glow Rhino. When a company or product are good when they do me like this I'm gonna let it be known.

Thanks to any that read this I hope I can save someone else the headache of dealing with a flat out garbage company that really doesn't give a crap about its customers.

Sorry to hear that. I ordered some tritium glow fobs from them last year and they shipped them really quickly.

Well, based upon the above, I‘ll be modifying my “want list“ to delete their thumb stud model. To the OP: hope this somehow works out for you and appreciate the ”heads up”. One less hassle to deal with.

If I can I dont know how

The axis lock was crushed apparently during packing/delivery

The trit survived the axislock did not and is unusable i did provide pics to GlowRhino

Update: yesterday I received a package with my replacement axis lock
No further correspondence from Glow Rhino and it took 5 1/2 weeks to get my complete order from Dearborn MI to Toledo OH only an hr away.

So I guess they finally fulfilled the order after far too long and too much headache.

I can now join the anti-glow rhino club.
Ordered a set of orange tritium pm2 scales, and they’re too thick or the screw holes aren’t drilled correctly. Zero thread engagement on the standoffs -see pics. After multiple emails the customer service rep, Lauren, agreed to send me a different set of scales. Which is not what I requested actually - I simply asked for a refund and I would send the defective scales back to them. However I obliged and figured it certainly wouldn’t happen again, right? Wrong. Same exact issue. Zero thread engagement on the standoffs. I reached out to Lauren again and again and it’s been several days now with no response from the company.
Total loss of $60+, over an hour trying to get them to work and sending 16 emails to try and get a resolution since 12/19/22 and I’m being totally ignored. So I have a couple orange glow rhino scales that fit nothing. 👍 very cool.

All should just be aware that they absolutely do not honor their return policy and their customer service is total garbage. STAY AWAY FROM GLOW RHINO!!!!!

KiloGolf92 sorry to hear that you had a similar experience with GR they seem to be headed down the road of being a terrible company. I found it suspicious that they do not have a store front or any form of a contact phone #. Very much makes me question who manufacturers the knifes they sell let alone the tritium products. Really the only actual info about the company is thier compliance with the NRC(nuclear regulatory commission) for selling trit products. They will no doubt continue to make new products and continue poor customer service practices, but in the end what goes around comes around. Our stories here will no doubt have many BF members taking pause before giving them money in the future. The best thing we can do is share and hope our pain doesn't go unnoticed in our community.

I’ve discovered that Glow Rhino is also affiliated with Night Fision. They make tritium sights for firearms. They are apparently sister companies. Same founders, and located in the same city.
I’ve reached out to them via email in hopes that someone there can help me get a response from Glow Rhino customer service.
I’m expecting that they probably have centralized customer service and I’ll continue to be ignored. However, if I do hear anything back I’ll certainly update here.

How did you pay?

How did you pay?
I paid with a card. I considered hitting them with a chargeback, but my credit card company said I would need a second opinion letter on letterhead stating the item was indeed defective. Kind of a hassle.

I actually did end up emailing Night Fision, and to my surprise I received an email this morning stating a full refund would be issued.
So, for whatever it’s worth - it looks like reaching out to Night Fision is what sparked the ultimate resolution in my case. Such a frustrating experience dealing with Glow Rhino directly I’m definitely avoiding them from here on out.

I've considered ordering some of their products as well. Thanks for the heads up fellas, I won't be waisting my money with this company now.

I've purchased GR items several times, but on the secondary market. You're still supporting a shifty company, but if you buy it retail, you deal with the vendor, not GR. TERRIBLE WAY TO DO BUSINESS!

I was just reading that Millennials and younger (Gen Z, etc.) are overwhelmingly choosing to become entrepreneurs rather than toil in 9-5's. I think the show Shark Tank has had a huge influence, as has eBay, etsy, and other venues where people can set up shop selling stuff.

This is to say that maybe not everyone has the personality to run a small business, even though their friends push them to try it. If someone can't juggle ten things at once while remaining calm and responsive to customers, a 9-5 job may be the better route. IMO
