I’ve only ever seen two types of custom Crookeds, the all black with red pivot collar version ie: the murdered out version and the what the OP ordered ie: the Apostle P version.

Ordered mine all orange with black liners gray bolsters stainless hardware and split arrow clip with a awesome S30v blade. Also orange back spacer and pivot collar. Great hunting knife!

This is the large CR I had custom made.
Totally lucked out (unbeknownst to me) at the custom shop configurator when there was a mixup on pricing and got it for $200 even.
They corrected the oversight the next day and I figured they would charge me the difference (I wouldn't have minded) but they stuck with it. Good business.

That's nice looking; the worst I've come to is saving a bunch of pictures that my wife found. Her reaction was as if she found a porn stash on my hard drive or something. "Those look expensive..." Probably shouldn't have made them my screen's background, but it looked so nice.

I've luckily avoided the crooked river custom, for now, as I want the M4 blade for EDC. Wish they did uncoated blades to save me the work of stripping it back off.

Oh man now I have to have one! In the last week a Spydie Kapara, MD Gavco Thresher and a Brian Nadeau Micro Typhoon. Bought them all on the exchange here. My ol'lady is gonna kill me. I love this forum but its dangerous to my wallet, the 1950 pan head rebuild isn't helping either.

Put a bid on a norseman this week and somewhat thankful it didn’t work! I certainly would have honored it but want to wait for the makers choice. Bid was quite a bit under cost but close enough I didn’t get immediately declined. Influence of an Islay single malt.
