Who has one and whats your take on it? Durablity, quality, and price compared to a leather wallet? Where is a good repuatble vendor with this style in stock and at a resonable price? How long have you had yours, and have you experinced any wear and tear issues? Thanks

Campusninja, my two cents, go for the stingray wallet, I got mine a little over 3 years ago, at the Las Vegas classic knife Show, from Adam Drescher of Adam Unlimited. He held a lighter to the edge of his, and I was convinced  ! I also washed mine by mistake, and it was no worse for wear. On a sidenote, 4GodAndCountry is right, the mission wallet totally blows, and I definitely wouldnt recommend it. It was a gift, and I am sorry my brother was ripped off  . Thing is only worth about five bucks, honest. They have them made in Central America. I was in Guatemala in late '98, and there were leatherworkers there offering wallets made of lizard, tortoise, and leather, and you could get one of them for $20. You will not regret the sting ray wallet, but get one from Adam unlimited, the quality is the best I have seen. Good Luck. :)

I have one in my back pocket right now. Got it from Adam a few years ago. I have been able to notice a teeny bit of wear around the edges, but only because I overload my wallet. I have money, cards, pics, coupons, etc... More than the average wallet carrys, that's for sure. I will buy another, IF I ever manage to wear this one out.

I bought one from www.stingrayproducts.com about 6 years ago.

Like Danbo, I tend to overstuff it a bit.

The rayskin itself is not wearing, bit is starting to lose it's black color where the edges of the credit cards are. The only thing that is showing wear is the leather that is used to bind the rayskin to the wallet liner.

I like it so much that I bought ones for my Father and Brother

I also got my rayskin wallet from Stingray Products. It broke in very quickly and feels great. After a year of ownership it still looks new save for two very tiny chips off of the black denticles. The finish is still shiny and seems like armor. This is one tough leather. It's also a really good conversation piece. Just be prepared to explain that it did not come from an endangered spieces. For some reason, a lot of people assume it's unethical simply because stingray is an unusual leather to come across. Stingray Products even has a disclamer on it's site saying that all of it's skins come from non-threatened or endangered fish.

I bought one 1 month ago on ebay and got it for 18 dollars. It looks like it will take a beating . I am very happy with it so far.

I got a stingray bifold from Stingray Products at the New York custom knife show in Nov. of 2000. I've carried it every day and it still looks great. The only wear on mine isalso around the leather binding on the edge. It doesn,t affect anything and I think I'll probably get ten years out of this wallet.

I carried an Infinity Wallet for 4 years from stingrayproducts.com and loved it. Like others have said it had some wear around the edges, but I kept my knife next to it and that caused the wear.

I never completely filled the wallet up and decided to downsize to the Infinity economy wallet with just places for cards and a money compartment on the outside. It is black and 2/3 the size of a regular wallet. I love the stingray skin. I now have more room in the wallet pocket and can carry other things in the pocket easier. I get lots of comments on the wallet from foreign women.

I bought the Stingray wallet that bladeart sells well over a year ago. I've used it every day, overstuffed it, and the only problem I had was the license window getting loose from me stacking too much junk behind it. A strip of tape and it was fixed. The leather did not tear, the plastic window was deformed. I still use it every day, and imagine it will last many years.
