Just got a used one in trade and wanted to comment.

What a sweet little knife, I love the ergos. I've have knives with choils, spydercos, but never really liked them that much. I don't know why I like it on the pt, but I really really do! Fit and finish is great, blade maybe a little off center closed, but no biggie. Lockup is sweet, and did I mention the ergonomics?

Mine is not the cc version, but I did remove the pocket clip. I found it useless on this little knife. If I clipped it to my rf pocket it would flop around. So I just drop it in my pocket.

I got it sharp, it was used, and I just dig it. The blade is pretty thick, as thick as my ZT0350, but the knife is pretty thin. Opens with a flick, and when palmed is very discreet.

I'm gonna carry it for a while and then buy or trade for an sng as I can't imagine not liking the design in a larger knife as well.

All in all a small knife that I like 2x as much as my next favorite small knife, the sage 2. Which is good considering their relative values.

If purchasing new I would get the cc version, but not getting it wouldn't be a deal breaker.

Really impressed.

I have had 2 PTs, and both times ending up selling them. The cutting edge was just too small for me, but they are solid little knives. I had a big problem with the pocket clip for the same reason you did, it rides way to high for that small of a knife. I removed my clip too and put it in a pouch. I am looking at the baby Huey's now for my strider fix........

Not that it really matters, but Ihave heard the pocket clip is positioned how it is to prevent the lock bar from being overextended. Can anyone confrim that?

Jstrange- yup, it looks like the pocket clip would prevent over-travel. But, it is not difficult to regulate against over-travel. I can see if I was wearing gloves, or really amped, maybe pushing to hard... But it's a little knife for that. Plus, the cc version looks the same and doesn't even come with the clip.

Lycosa- LOL, just about to set up another trade thread to see what I can do .
