1/8 O1 tool steel deferentially heat treated to be both a striker and working knife.





Testing using charcloth and chert.



Local chaga and English flint.

 
And the Kydex is done!

I used the same adjustable knife lock as the SS PSK sheath. It's doesn't need this for retention but I really don't like the concept of even the possibility of the lose of a PSK as survival is it's middle name.

Taco Kydex is a bit smaller and faster to make. It's what I do when only got a short amount of time to work on it.



 
I own one of Wolf Creek Forge's strikers and everything Lisa makes is top notch, been wanting to get one of her PSK knives but I've got a JK that just won't quit after repeated abuse.
