Ordered a Leek Tactical off ebay for about half price. I am not a fan of black colored knives. Can the coating on the blade itself be stripped? I wouldn't strip the handle.

So cannot use aircraft remover? I have stripped my Becker and Ontario knives with this method.

Yes the 1660CKT: Kershaw Leek Tactical Spring Assisted Knife (3" Black Plain) 1660CKT

I usually don't like "tactical" stuff but the price was too good to resist. I'd like to de-tactical it LOL.

Thanks for prompt reply!

Guess it depends on what you think your time is worth but would probably be cheaper to just buy one without the coating. You wont get it off with chemicals thats why its such a good coating.

Just buy the non coated one, it's not as if they are all that spendy.
