strop conditioners, what grit

What grit (approximately) are the various strop conditioners? I prefer to use something I have here locally before having to order something online.
How about the red rouge and white rouge "crayons" sold at Sears?
Flitz?
Brasso?
anything else at harware/auto stores?
Thanks.

Personally I like a light loading, and very seldom recharged, of Green Chrome Rouge on the 2x10 leather glued to a 1x2x15 board I use most....and don't overstrop...2 or 3 strokes each direction will often be sufficient to get to shaving sharp on your knife edge ..and more is not as good, rather than better.
My Father-In-LAw who was a barber for 52 years, used the leather strop and fabric other side of the razor strop without anything on it for straight razors. Som barbers have been known to use as fine a grit as facial talcum powder as a charge for their razor strops.
Of course, most barbers switched to disposable blades for their straight razors years ago.

Stay Safe,

Someone once told me I could use toothpaste on my strop, but I haven´t tried it, maybe someone else knows more about that.

I have used brasso on folded newspaper and can get a good shaving edge stropping with that.

I have an old barber strop (linen and horse leather I believe) and have allways used it with nothing on it.

Another interesting question I´ve allways wondered about is strop maintenance, should it be cleaned, oiled, etc. ?

I just realized I´m not giving much of an answer to your questions (grit?), sorry, hopefully someone else will.
