Stupid knife question.....

He was putting scratches in the bottle. Maybe to show the durability of the coated finish?

never seen that before
the only thing that i can think is that the blade is hard enough to scratch glass (as noted)
or that the lock can hold up to that pressure it takes to scratch class with the spine

both seem silly to me

He’s claiming that “two of the best steels in the world are M390 and S390”, which apparently are the steels they’re using to make their blades.

He said "The knife makes scratches, because the hardness of the knife 70, the hardness of the bottle 62". :D
Yeah, but what the fuck is the description! Handle gten plus jimping, called linerlock a bearings lock, isnt he a drug user!

So..... I’m not an idiot? :D:D
Well, you still posted a really terribly worded question. :p

I don't have a clue why they're "take the spine of knives on glass bottles" though. (Why are guys dragging the spine of knives across glass bottles?)

Maybe they're showing that the steel is hard enough to bite into glass? Idk. I can't wait for the fail videos though where the bottle explodes in their hand.
