I like the alternate white beta format

a few improvement suggestions

be able to collapse down the individual forum lists

toolbar with each forum category like before (i know it is under category header, but am used to the old way)

replace default "?" avatar with something BF specific

have a little more differentiation between separate threads in each forum. individual posts in threads are much improved with color bar

hide archives

pinned items look like other threads, color coding them or somehow separating them would make them more obvious
