The Sunshine cloth was recommended on here by a fellow forum user and I was wondering, is a jewelry cloth the same as a Sunshine cloth?

I am a 15 year veteran knife maker and I've tried everything known to man to clean knife blade surfaces. About a year ago I was at a show and a dealer had this product on the table; I bought a package.
It's the most amazing product. I pulled my belt knife out of its sheath, I'd been cutting meat and onions and everything else you can think of; I cut off a small piece of this coconut smelling cloth laid the blade flat on a table and polished away. In less than a minute it was new. I mean it took every tarnish off the blade, some of them had been on there for a long time.
Google Miracle Cloth and order yourself a few; I've turned all my knife making friends onto this.

Does this work on the scales also?
I will be ordering this from Amazon and thanks for the recommendation. I'll give it a try and report back.

Its not toxic or abrasive in nature. Try it I think you will like how it works.

They are abrasive. You can't polish without abrasion. These cloths are very useful, but you must remove the residue to keep from getting white lines in any cracks.
Simichrome polish is much less abrasive and produces a brighter finish. Used together, you can get a wonderful polish.
Jewelry cloths are different. They are "dry" cloths treated with a very fine abrasive. They will work for light clean up on bolsters. I prefer Simichrome polish on a soft rag.

Anything that cleans I imagine would be considered abrasive. I like the Magic cloth much better than the Simichrome, it wont take stains out like the Magic Cloth.
