As a trader, collector and sometimes seller of knives I have seen such a lack of product from Emerson, which I personally prefer, that they have sold more Benchmades for Benchmade than Benchmade could have ever accomplished on their own. They have had their problems too, but not nearly with the severity of Emerson. Sure the guys who collect knives will just wait, but the new collector or one time buyer just moves to another knife. I have had a backorder, through a dealer, for the Police Utility for months now and am frankly just getting tired of waiting. These really aren't customs that should require such devotion to get one.
