I decided to try out the Kunwu TAO 2 with Vanax blade. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by what you get for the price. Not a big fan of the natural Ti scales, clip and back spacer too "bling" for my taste. I decided to darken the scales with Sodium Percarbonate solution and electro ano the clip and back spacer. It came out super nice! Any love for Kunwu knives on the forum?

I’ve had the OG Tao, the Padre, which is an incredible knife, and I have the Django in CF and polished DLC. Now THAT is how to do a crossbar lock! No bladeplay in any direction, free fall action, amazing build quality, good heat treat, and all for about the same price as a Benchmade Bugout if you got in on the preorder.

In my opinion Kunwu makes some of the nicest production knives available if you like their styling.

I have a Pulsar, X-TAO, and a Padre. They're all very good, but LG is right, the Padre is amazing! Kunwu's pricing, in general, makes their products among the best values of the Chinese producers.

Their Styling is what attracted me to them in the first place. I think the Kunwu Django in polished DLC (they use the proper DLC) is one of the best looking knives I have ever seen!

I have a Compact Chad and A S-Tao II, both super knives very happy with fit and finish
