Are there any survival courses in or near Illinois? Preferable Illinois, in the west suburbs of Chicago. Just looking for classes, or an instructor who can teach outdoor survival.Thanks.

Hi, Fellow outdoor enthusiust here. I am pretty much up on my survival skills and i don't mind sharing. let me know what you are into, I can pretty much wilderness camp with minimal equipment. I have been studying survival skills for a long time had soem good teachers.

im also in the W burbs when im not at college....and i haven't found any places that are worth anything...but then i got to thinking..im probably going to be fine around home but what about other placed..so i looked more into the east and west away from home to also try giving me some help in those areas...and if u are that desperate for that type of learning..the best thing that is free and u can easily do is find a boy scout troop near u...which there are 2 in my town alone...and see if they have a ranger/explorer unit...its all older scouts most eagle and they do the more "hardcore" camping and trips...i did that and thats how i learned most everything i know...
