Survive! Sheaths and standard attachments that fit them

Yes! It was a perfect fit for the 3.5 too! :) (The smaller KSF sheath for reference, does not fit the 3.5.)

This might be OT, but I just got the KSF Allegheny Pocket Sheath, and the Necker 2 is a very good fit for it! I'll try it with a 3.5 this weekend, which is my intended knife for it...

I think it was Silver who started a thread on naming knives, which spurred me to call this one "Anne" based on her ruddy 'hair' (scales) and lightly freckled complexion. My wife read me all of the Anne books during the "early" years of our marriage... it'll be ten years this Autumn :)
Cool name, serious freckles! Congratulations on 10 years!

I always thought the GSO 10 had the legionnaire gladius thing going for it :)
Yeah! I love that blade height. I love it so much.

Doing some rearranging and had a few leftover 2.7 clips laying around, so snapped a couple quick pics to show the revisions for anyone interested. Widened the split and narrowed the prongs a bit with tapered ends, so they should be better for attaching to things. Did away with those ugly extra holes I was having to use as machining points. The split is now sized to take Chicago posts. Not sure it serves any useful purpose, but someone may find a use for that. Tidied up design all around and tolerances tightened up majorly.

Kiah, I didn't realize you were still involved with kydex for SURVIVE! Thanks for the update, looks great!

I'm pretty happy with the kydex Battle Horse Knives does for me on my GSO's.
They still have the patterns if anyone else is interested in ordering some

Thanks, SN. Just doing clips right now. Still need to get to some S!K related stuff like the foldover N-II sheaths, just been distracted with other things. I should have some neat stuff going when I get around to taking orders again though.

Good to know. Looking forward to what you can do when things calm down for you

It looks like they do a nice job with those. I like how they've aligned the slots, too.

Hi guys. Can anyone with the sagewood danglers tell me if one of their danglers would fit a CPK field knife? The eyelets on the field knife are set 2 inches across. Thanks!

ETA: Found the info from jjweb. Thanks!

Here's a quicky sheath I put together for the 4.1. Next time I'll have to pay more attention to it's shape and eyelet placement.
I'll have to make a proper jig for the clip also.

It works well and the knife is secure now since I royally jacked up the original clip.

Very nice Standard! That black dye looks like it's holding up really well, too. Still nice and dark.

Standard, that is really cool! Not bad at all for your first one. I imagine you'll keep getting better and better

Thanks bud!
The dye is doing good so far but I'll have to redo it once I scrub the scales down. I'm thinking about recessing the screws a bit so they don't get so beat up. The finish is nearly gone on the screws underneath the sheath.

Thanks SN!
I'm hoping the next one will come out more uniform than this one. I did this one late last night with horrible lighting and a handheld belt sander. The crooked eyelets are driving me crazy!

This post aims more to the "sheath" part of the thread title rather than the attachement portion.

The FDE sheath was a seriously cool and very generous gift from Casinostocks

Sexy sheath from a sexy dude.

Now I have some sheathing options!

This post is WAY overdue, but here is one of my favorite ways to carry my 4.7. Halestorm made me a really nice drop loop. The nylon is super sturdy, but has just as much give as I'd like. The kydex part and the hardware are all upgrades from the standard sheath material. The kydex is thicker and the hardware is stainless and heavy duty. This is a bombproof accessory!!!!!

It is comfortable wearing a knife the size of the 4.7 in any situation: standing, sitting, moving, working. If I get a chance this afternoon I'll do some ninja rolls in my backyard and report back. I expect my 4.7 still to carry well in that or any situation with this attachment.

In the same transaction, I ordered this guy. I've had a recent interest in carbon fiber and I love the look of blood red, especially blood red with charcoal gray or black. Halestorm special ordered me the blood red carbon fiber and crafted my first taco style sheath. The retention is very solid. He made sure the eyelets were spaced 3/4 inch on center, so my Chiral UKE fits perfectly. I love wearing this sheath with the UKE.

Thank you, Halestorm, for the great products

Holy crap Silver! That drop loop and red sheath are badass!!
Killer job there Halestorm!

Red carbon fiber....very cool. I like the contrast.

I'll bet it would look great with black g10, too.
