Swapping handles on BM 710s...?

Here's my dilemma. I want a BM 710 SBT in M2 with aluminum handles. They only offer a regular 710 (ATS 34) with aluminum handles and the M2 SBT has regular G-10 handles. I have an SBT in ATS 34 and have disassembled it many times to clean/tweak it with no problem. Here's my question...
If I buy the 2 knives mentioned above, are they interchangable? Doing it would be no problem so I guess what I want to know is are all the parts identical? I have 2 options. 1.) I can take the M2 blade out of the one and swap the blades or 2.) I can swap the handle scales. Maybe swapping the blades would be easier assuming they are identical in machining and shape. Swapping the scales would rely on a perfect fit and all the screw holes lining up perfectly. There's no way for me to know without being able to play with them so I was hoping maybe someone here had played with some and could help me out.

Thanks!!

Go for it. All you have to do is take the pivot screws out and swap the blades. The Axis lock provides a lot of self-adjustment to ramp angles and wear, so small differences between blades is not a worry. The swap is easy and worry free.
