I just saw on the Wenger website that some of the Ranger knives are available with pocket clips. I wonder if Victorinox will add a clip to the OHT.

Here's a link to the Rangers on the Wenger website: http://www.wengerna.com/browse/browse.jsp?cat_id=1&sub_cat_id=85

unfortunally that wenger clip stands way out! its not practical, it makes an allready thick knife thicker.

vic has buy my swissbianco clipdesign for the 91mm and 111mm but hasent descided if they want make any clips or not.

Roger, That's unfortunate. I hope Victorinox buys your clip design. I'd like to have the option of carrying the one-hand Trekker with a clip. -Jake

they have buy and pay it allready jake. there are some problems i cant name here. the clip is removable so those 10% that dont want it can screw it off and sure the same sak without clip are still avaliable.

whole usa wait on an working clip sak!

what i work on is an new kind of sak, non riveted but screw together, pocketclip, assistend opening, quality materials and other features. thake time but at least the blade will be made in usa.

some pics of spl sak are here http://s253.photobucket.com/albums//hh59/swissbianco/

Thats exactly what I've been waiting many years for! :D A beefier SAK with better tools and a better blade (that locks). Keep us posted on it's progress. What kind of timeframe are you looking at and are you making it or will someone else manufacture your design?

what pictures are the spl sak?

i did make that pic on the iwa show, i get the real ones soon. havent had an measurement for show how many milimeters but by the thickness of that sak you see how way to mutch the clip stands out, it will catch on anything. and this sak shown is not the thickest sak they put it on...sorry, i like wenger but goal is missed way mutch.

wenger did get one proto clip for that knife from me, they send it back they designed theyr own, thats the one we see above. ok it is how it is. will make pics of theyr and my clip, mounted on the same sak.

as for the timeframe, i honestly dont now. the proto is ready in my mind, after the swiss army trial disaster im complete free on how that sak will be. the patented assistend opener feature i allready have.

today i have filled out the hopefully last paperwork for the us immigration office, after emigrate from swiss to usa those swiss bureocratics wont hurt my work anymore, im out here.

for this line of knives some parts will be china made. some will be us made, as the blade, cpm steel and high quality heattreat. that the chinese havent, the rest they can do ok. and 100% made in usa knife would be to high in price as fare i see jet. would be my goal as i love usa and theyr people (ok most of em) but i see no way to sell that pricewise.

make sure you get my +B newsletter.

Best of wishes in all your endeavors here in the states! You have some great ideas and a love for all things knives so there is no doubt that you will succeed.
Look forward to seeing more of your products!

I never got why people who didn't buy a OHT because of the serrations never even thought of a Wenger ranger, the OH blades are all PE. I am trying to do a OHT in micarta with a pocket clip.
