T10 steel

I recently learned that Rough Ryder makes some knives in a steel known as T10 which seems to be a modified form of 1095, how does their heat treat compare to Case CV or Opinel xc90.

The carbon steel Colt CT609 Canoe with T10 blades I have seems to have a good heat treat.
(EDIT: 10-12-21: So does my RR1569 Moose, and RR1740 large stockman and RR200 Barlow from the Classic Carbon series, added to my accumulation since my original statement, concerning the Colt canoe, around a year or so ago.)

When SMKW for whatever reason(s) gave up or lost the license to manufacture Colt knives, the more popular of the Colt Carbon Steel knives (like the canoe, trapper and moose) were rebranded and added to the Rough Rider line with no changes, other than the tang stamp and shield.

Be aware the blade stock on the Rough Rider Ti coated carbon steel knives are about twice as thick as that on the Case CV knives, and the Rough Rider stainless steel knives of the same pattern.
(Roughly 1/8 inch vs 1/16 inch)

The Colt/Rough Rider just feel more "heavy duty" to me, and slice just as well as the thinner blade knives of the same pattern do.
