This week’s featured blade: Our Tactical Gladius Sword.
We had professional reviewer, Jason Woodard, put a demonstration video together for it. He really put this one through its paces and it didn’t brake, even on Solid Granite. Did a great job! Below is our video of his review as well as more footage of the sword.
Tactical Gladius Sword
Shop Details:
1095 High Carbon Steel. Steel is Heat Hardened & quenched in oil. Heat Tempered @ 500 degrees for 2 hours, and letting it air cool.
Measurements:
Total Length = 25 ½ “
Blade Length = 18 ¼ “
Blade Width = 2 ¼ “
Blade Thickness = 3/16”
Handle Length = 7 ¼ “
Handle Width = 1 1/8”
Handle: Black Linen Micarta
Weight = 2.5 lbs
POB: 4” from the guard
