  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

For a while, it used to be just Blade, then Knife World and Blade, then Knife World. An issue of TK thrown in for good measure. Well, it got to the point that I was buying TK just to get my fill of Dan Schectman articles(Backwoodsman is only a bimonthly magazine ), and, slowly but surely, my fill of Gossman write ups. Just picked up the new issue off the stand today, and saw an article on the Nessmuk trio, and a healthy write up on Scotts gear. Both what he makes, and what he carries. But, the main photo of the article showcased a Fiskars axe, a Tidioute slippie, and... wait for it...

A KEPHART! Looked like osage orange scales, it was 01 steel. I'd like to pick up some scales for mine that will come due next spring from Scott, but damn if those scales didn't look good! I thought I was satiated with my PSK Sr. Nope.

And, I have to admit, I promptly sent in my subscription card to TK.

Oh yeah, the article featured a write up on his WSK, and a pic of a mini Nessmuk. It does exist...
