I got a question about Tactical Swords. I actually really just heard about them a few minutes ago. I saw these Tactical Swords called Abbadon Swords....I don't know much about them. It has me intrigued I will admit that, something on the line of an Ontario Black Wind Katana, or the Abbadon Sword look pretty cool. Can anyone give me more info on this type of sword and where I can by such if worth it?

Tactical Swords just sounds funny to me. Those two words don't belong together in these "modern" times.

I think the Swamp Rat Waki or a Hisshou would fit the description of a small sword ment for self defense or combat

huh? All swords are tactical, in the true definition of the word. Its like calling a firearm Tactical, or anything Tactical. God when will it end. My wonder is this, what can any "tactical" sword do that a non-tactical sword cannot? You'd do better with a 12ga shotgun.

I still use old school blade and edge geometry in my tactical swords because it has been proven for centuries to work well. A tactical sword to me is a non traditional sword designed for modern use. It should be lightweight, able to strap to a pack without being intrusive or cumbersome, should a very good cutter and tough as hell.
