Sometimes it's not the knife, but the rig that makes it tacticlol...

You are 100% right man! These sort of "tactical" sheaths always made me laugh (despite great leather-craftsmanship).

This is frequently seen within custom made sheaths, where sheath have so many add-ons, that it actually multiply size and weight of actual knife by number of times....Gross, useless, awkward.

I don't mind sheath to hold one small stone plus one ferro rod,but that's about max.(for my taste)

I'm talking against the benchmade bedlam

Bedlam is only 154CM, decent steel but nothing fancy, based on my experience with BM 950. It's rather equal to CTS-XHP or between VG-10 and CTS-XHP.

^^ (the microtech)

I agree. Apart from the very flat handle, I like it.

That price though.... No way

Yeah, fixed blades with wave. Really? Even if it's for catching the blade of the oponent - c'mon.

It works mostly as a thumb-rest and a guard, you know...

M-Tech's USA selection is right up this alley, like the "ASSASSIN SELF DEFENSE SURVIVAL KNIFE"
