I recently purchased 2 new multi tools, a Leatherman Charge TTi, and a SOG EOD Powerlock w/V-Cutter. I got the nylon pouch with each one, and I don't like the velcro closing systems. I have been looking at alternative pouches, and have finally found what I consider to be the perfect pouch for my multi tools.
Colt6731 recommended the Tailor Tactical MOLLE Multi Tool Pouch (Thanks Colt!). I bought it for $15 plus shipping, and it arrived today.
It is made of durable nylon, and has an adjustable Fastex buckle. It has a MALICE clip for attachment to a belt or other equipment.
Both the Leatherman Charge TTi and the SOG EOD Powerlock w/V-Cutter fit snugly into the pouch.

I'd stick with YKK zippers, those webbing straps can snag on brush. Check out the modular pouches by Maximum Pedestrian I figure they are called Conch shell or Hermit crab, or something but id opt for them in any case.

I absolutley love TT and have used their products since 2000 and on two combat deployments to Iraq. It also helps that they are just outside Ft Lewis (now JBLM) so I can fondle their stuff before I buy it. And they have a nice Mil/LE discount.

I'am looking for a horizontal belt sheath with a buckle for my Strider SMF knife.
I also don't like the velcro sheaths, does anyone uses this Tactical Tailor sheath with a strider smf?
