Alright so I know the knives are made in China and I know the company was started by the original Kizer folks. Also, I heard about them around the same time that a bunch of new brands were made available at my local retailer, so I never really gave them much attention until now..

I’m currently in love with the shape and materials of their Shikari Micarta model, and I’m looking for someone to talk me out of it. Keep in mind I love big knives.

Convince me my Spartan Harsey Folder is good enough. ;)

Yes, Kim Ning originally worked for Kizer.

I have gotten the following models so far:

The large Tanto called Hellx, designed by Danish Knifemaker Mikkel Willumsen. In D2 steel and blue G10 handle scale flipper-tab-opener.

(I just found out that they came out with a smaller version of it recently.)

The Kim Ning-designed Kryo in a drop-point recurved D2 blade and brown micarta handles scales. And flipper-tab-opener and a cut-out on the blade for manual opening.

The latest model I have picked up is the Bulldozer. It has a reverse Tanto/hybrid Wharncliffe/clip-point blade of D2 with brown micarta handle scales and front flipper opener.

I have no complaints at all for all of these; The fit and finish are outstanding.

They have a great variety of designers from around the world and lots of handle color choices on various models too.

I am considering the KMaxrom-designed Pretatout next.

The Pretatout looks nice, I snagged a Pelican mini recently and it's great. If they are similar then the grind will probably be awesome
