Tang question

If g10 is chosen as a handle material on a given model, is the tang modified as far as length, width etc? I read that the tang is fully enclosed with g10, so I was wondering if or how much it had to be altered.

The tang of our G10 handles is 5/8" wide, 1/4" thick and travels to 3/8" from the end of the handle.

The steel is completely inclosed and insulated.

Not to be anal, but how much does that differ from the cord wrap as far as width.

I bet it doesn't go down as well. Then again, maybe it does.

Our cord tangs are .250"thick, one inch wide and obviously, full length. Therefor the difference is 3/8" in width. Also remember that the G10 has no steal in the guards. They are integral with the handle.
