Hello,

I have jut received a cold steel pro lite with a tanto blade and this knife has risen my interest in tanto blades

I have had an extreme ratio BF1 tanto and it was too small

The pro lite has a longer blade and it seems to work fine for me

I think I don’t like sub 3.25”
Tanto ;)

I have been very interested in the CRK umnumzaan Tanto for a while... I am very close to pull the trigger on one but I already have some CRK and s35vn blades

What would you recommend for a tanto folder with a 3.5+/-.25 blade, frame or liner lock and a premium steel m390/m4 or similar steel?

Liong Mah Warrior 2 V2
Reate K-2 even though I know you said no S35VN it really is incredible
Hoback Kwaiback (you may still find one in 20CV vs the CTS XHP) or the CKF version in m390

If you can find a CKF Gavko Spinner on the secondary market, it would fit all your requirements. 3.5 inch M390 blade, with a framelock and all Ti handle. I got one as a gift a few years ago and it's the knife that made me reconsider the tanto blade shape.

Benchmade Barrage.

Maybe you don't consider 154CM to be "Premium Steel", but I do.

Easy to maintain, gets super sharp with no effort and stays that way. Stainless as all get-out.

Benchmade does this steel in a premium way, and I heartily recommend it.

The CRK Inkosi and Umnum are killer tanto grinds . Nice and thick.
