Tanto?

Those were nice. Thicker than the crappy black coated ones they offer. The brass was standard stainless was optional. They also made them in three different sizes.

See pic below of Stone-wood custom knife that started as his model 345, which I then converted blade shape to my tanto design & he built it. Triple grinds on each side with bead blasted finish. Todd lives in my hometown of Cheektowaga, NY.

All American Tantos look weird in my retinas.
However, WEIRD isn't always a bad thing, for example; Dusk to Dawn

Personally I can't stand the American version of a tanto. If I want something that looks like a chisel then I will buy a chisel. On the the hand I love a Japanese style tanto.

I made a Japanese style for my brother years ago, thanks to Photobucket the picture is gone. I still have the pattern somewhere.

I can’t get the video to play for me, I must be doing something wrong.

Just placed an 2020 order for a EO1 Kane & a custom build.
Custom named SHINSHI in Japanese means 'gentleman', so it's a gents knife.
Black micarta bolster with a green micarta scale.

Very cool!

Unsolicited observation, the thumb ramp on your top one might be a bit far forward.
