Well I've seen a Spydie Perrin FB and I must admit it's a very nice FB and definately good for concealed carry, but as I suspected, that particular Tek-Lok (the Mini I believe) does not lend to that form of carry.
Does the regular Tek-Lok allow IWB carry or not?
Where would I be able to find more information about the Tek-Lok and maybe even buy them?
Search didn't turn up something that I wanted.

If this is about anything Spyderco I would post a question on the Spyderco forum under Makers and Manufacturers. You might even get an answer from Sal himself.

This is somewhat about Spyderco... cause I first figure that from the Perrin's sheath.
But TekLoks are quite commonly used on kydex sheaths.

The TekLok is most likely the best new knife related product in years. However, they do have their limits. IWB carry is one of those limits.

You can find info on the TekLok at the Blade Tech site and also on my site. Blade Tech has them at $8.95 and I have them at $8.

You might think of horizontal carry. The TekLok is tops at that carry. It is also more comfortable than IWB IMHO.

I don't want it to be seen easily by people who I don't want to know having it, that's why I want to know about IWB.

Visit www.blade-tech.com

This is the site that features Tek lock for various uses.

Featured in Sept. 2001 issue of TK - has a picture of John Larsen's Jens Anso knife in horizontal belt carry mode with Tek Lok. Another picture shows a Spyderco Bill Moran sheath configuration.

With horizontal carry, a shorter blade disappears under an untucked shirt. I carry a MicroTech Medallion horizontally with a Mini Tek-Lok, and I forget it's there. I usually have my T-shirts untucked, but my big belly will hide the knife as well:rolleyes: If you are interested in an awesome IWB rig, that also allows for almost any other mode of carry, check out the MCS Kydex System from Bud Nealy. Don't have a link, but a search should bring up his website.

You micht also look at getting an IWB strap, they can be bought from Blade-Tech.

With it, you can tuck the sheath up to the fastener of the IWB strap in your waistband, thus some of the sheath and the handle would protrude from the waist. You could conceal what shows with a coat or shirt.
