I see a few here and there, but I'm curious if many people collect Texas Toothpicks! I see them called other things as well, but that appears to be the most common name for anymore. It's my favorite knife pattern, even though it's not the most practical. Here's my favorite one over the years, and the one that's gotten probably the most pocket time of any of my knives.

Most of mine are Case, and I've seen the GEC one, but I'm interested to see what other people might have in their collections!

Some nice ones there! I never bought many of the Kirinite knives, but they're nice looking!

I like kirinite, I’ve made a few knives with kirinite handles and it works easy and finishes beautifully. I’ve never had any issues with it being fragile or brittle, which is a complaint I’ve heard heard.

That's good to know! I have a couple of knives in kirinite, but no toothpicks yet. I have mostly bone and wood handles, with some synthetic mixed in. I'm sure some will show up eventually, I have the blue pearl and patriotic kirinite on my wishlist!

The toothpick isn't a popular pattern these days...mostly for aesthetic reasons. However, they are one of the most comfortable patterns to actually use.

My fav might be this Hammer Brand (1945-1955)

But of course GEC made some nice ones :)

I agree, the shape and overall feel is hard to beat. The GEC version looks a little stockier than some, but the proportions look really good still.
I can't really say I pay a lot of attention to what's trendy in the knife world, so I didn't realize the asthetics were the reason I didn't see them much!

Toothpicks? I have a few. One of my favorite patterns.

That's a nice collection! I'm jealous of the number of medium and large ones you have! Some older ones too. Most of mine are newer Case patterns because I'm cheap, and I get an employee discount at the store where I work!
The very first knife I forged I used Kirinite Patriot scales on.

Those scales turned out good, it definitely gives it a completely unique look with the variety in the swirls.

I can't say I've really seen much in the way of shadow toothpicks, so that's interesting!
Here is a Polish one (Oskard):
