I've always had a place in my heart for Southeast Asian swords. I had a handmade Filipino barong as a kid (gift from my grandad) and I've been obsessed with that uber-machete style of blade ever since and I have a question. Does anyone know where I can get a Thai Krabi (Krabi Kabrong)?
The only one I've seen for sale was from SzaboInc and I'd rather not pay $800 if I don't have to (wouldn't you feel the same?).

cozun.com is one place that offers darb/krabi krabong blades, though I've read some pretty harsh reviews online of some of their wares. Since I don't know of any other places to get a quality, traditional darb, I haven't taken the plunge yet. Shame, cause I really love the look of these things.

try hanwei brand, they have southeast asian swords in their production line. Since you are in north america, they are being distributed solely through CAS Iberia, so anyone carrying CASI products will probably have some hanwei or can get them.
