'You asked for it'..Delmas...some more interesting posts to whet our Schrade appetites/lust....I've just had new engraving to complete the display for the 2OT & 3OT Schrade-Walden Old Timers circa 1959/60...Resplendant in their new Schrade 90th Anniversary <1904-1994> display box's with their names on the gold tablet....

Only 'half dozen' 3OT's ever made according to Herman W. who used to own these two prior to making them available to Albert & Henry to display in the Ellenville N.Y. factory...they are the actual knives photographed by Sargent in his Schrade- Walden section of his 2nd Edition of 1989....only total 13,149, 2OT's made 1959 to 1963 with the last 516 shipped out in 1964 <info originally supplied by lrv & Codger>..

These two mint examples have no pin cracks or bone chips whatsoever, and in fact have rarely ever been handled during their 56 odd years on this earth....

They look pretty spivvy in their new abodes IMO....<is this interesting enough Delmas?....'You asked for it'.>......Hoo Roo

Larry that's VERY impressive, beautiful job!!

Eric

Drop dead gorgeous.

There is a 2ot in the bay that someone wants 2kidneys and liver for. However with none of the provenance of Larry's.

I often regret having sold my Craftsman version of the 2OT. Economics demanded it however. And If I had it back today, no doubt I would sell it again. I need new lungs. ;)

Excellent work Larry. These knives are worthy of the care and effort.

Now in the ""right/safe"" Schrade hands in US....should never have left the Schrade factory Collection...at least they were 'saved'....Hoo Roo

Few more where admin have not wiped my photos to the Bermuda Triangle....look while you still can if interested....Hoo Roo

Ref: Tom Chase,..a blade mate just mentioned that the iconic 'Schrade Factory Collection Conference Room' 2OT & 3OT may have a new Caretaker....?...trust they remain in safe caring hands...?..All the best,....Hoo Roo mate,..from Oz.

that is a very nice collection of knives. are they all Cut Co.? or Schrade?
It’s a mix. Eighteen are Schrade Cut Co and five are Old Timers. Seven of the knives are rescues and five of the Cut Cos are contract knives. There’s a Union Knife Works, NYK, Wolfertz and a couple of Shapleighs. My favorites are easy to pick out – this new-to-me pair of factory display knives and the two customs on the far left made by Herman Williams.
