The 3:10 to Yuma........

You guys do realize you are talking about a 1/32" difference between the older ones and the newer ones. Do you think that miniscule amount really makes that big of a difference.:D

Ill take your word for it. My 3/16 Yuma feels alive enough in my hand (granted I think my scales are slightly thinner than most Yuma handles so that may be the same difference). I wonder how much weight difference there is between the two thicknesses.

Mine should be here tomorrow, I'm stupid excited! It's 3/16. I have an ESEE 4, and a BK16. The E4 is 3/16, and the BK16 is 5/32. I really don't think it makes much of a difference, I'm hard on things, I think I'll like the extra thickness.

Hey, Todd! Do you drill out, or skeletonize (Sp?) the handles on the Yumas?

Here are a few simple kitchen tasks for the Yuma tonight. As I figured, she handled it all well. :)

A slice, little pad of butter, wrapped in foul and it's ready to go!

I can't stand it, but my wife likes cantaloupe...

Easy!!

First run... Good job on the easy tasks Yuma! Here's waitin on this years IL deer season -

Here are some shots of my Yuma. I realized that I have not added to this thread yet.

Can you tell I really like it?

Jeremy

Just sending an email to Mr. Hunt now. I love the one worldwood posted on page 7 and the orange/black one posted on page 2. I'm probably writing a freaking novel where he only needs a couple specs but I've never ordered a custom before. Hopefully I stop before I tell him my social security number or about my childhood love of Woody Woodpecker. Is that weird?

Also, I did a review of the very same Yuma of Worldwoods, found here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1196788-I-got-a-Yuma!-Review-Shootout-with-the-ESEE-4-EDIT-now-with-BK16-too!

And here is another one of Mistwalkers: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1178590-T-M-Hunt-Awesome-Custom-Knives!-(photo-heavy)

Between doctor visits over my wife's recently discovered cancer, I escaped for a day trip of deer hunting while she was at work. I and a friend got two young does each last night, giving my Yuma an opportunity to get dirty. We field dressed 3 of them with the Yuma.

(sorry, no pic of the third)

Todd, thanks again for a good design, executed very well. I REALLY like this knife! :)

Now, just gotta debone and package these two for the freezer today. After our other doctors appointment of course.

Will keep your wife in my thoughts B. Cool shots though, I love how the Yuma offers a very secure purchase even in slippery conditions.
