Christian
Those are some serious 317s, older version too. That elk is a one of a kind as far as the stag itself one of the best elk stag I have seen.

George,

I wish there was a thread for all of your 317's. I'm forced to hunt all over to look at your spectacular specimens. I have one other pile stamped 317 in the box new and I'm reluctant to alter that one. I have another "good bones" 317 with a sheath only. Newer tang stamp (Buck 317 Made in USA) I may have re-scaled down the road.

I have another Mastodon 535 Sawby out in the abyss I'm waiting to welcome home and a Sawby 539 Tru Blue Filet that in my heart believe should be Sambar Stag but may have to wait before the material becomes available. It is temping to okay the Elk Stag for the 539 though.

No mark 124 blade. Guard is marked. Cool 124 I got from a good friend of mine. COA in box. I love 124.

Makael - Beautiful 124. I need to find me one of those eventually with that stamp.

Heck, all the knives posted in this thread are fantastic. Not a bad one in the bunch.

Michael, the automatic 110 is absolutely the nicest, most classic auto 110 I have ever seen! If I ever have the chance to commission a very high end 112 auto I'll model it after yours but with a drop point raindrop damascus blade..

Mt Pokt rescaled this kalinga for me. It is a perfect job and I now have a new EDC. Whoever hasn't operated a folding kalinga is missing out. It is the smoothest folder I own.

Awesome job.

Looks great Makael! I'm glad you like and will put it to work! What kind of sheath are you going to make for it?

Hello DeSotoSky,
I picked the knife off the bay a while back for a handsome sum. How many versions are there? Are they all pearl frets? The stands were gifted to me when I purchased different 110's. The coin is mounted in stag and says "10 Idaho state Buck Post Falls" I imagine it is a 10 year anniversary stand. It has a slot on top to hold a knife. I too like the wooden stand, I use it for all my Bladeforum pictures. Thanks for asking.

I am sad I was an avid gun enthusiast and my gun card was confiscated and had to get rid of all firearms and the worst part I had tons of ammo and ended up donating it to the police dept. that took some guns. I do have the opportunity to get my 2nd amendment right reinstated but now I would have to jump through all kinds of hoops to get it back and if one thing is wrong I would be denied. So I have given up on hunting and owning a firearm altogether. My fun comes from collecting Buck knives (mostly 110's) but have other models also. This was my fathers hobbie which I picked up and continue.

If I remember right that coin in stag came with this 110.
