Nathan,
I asked this over in random thought thread. But probably better to ask here. In regards to the SDFK. Any chance of a “Best in class” CPK SDFK version for CPK forum members here Maybe long weekend sale ? ? ?
Maybe? I don't know, I'll have to think about it.
I like that idea.Nathan, will this new line have the same markings as your current offerings that were are used to or will you be going with something different that will help differentiate between the two products?
That’s a great way of distinguishing between lines. The new line will not be signed Carothers. Our current offerings might be referred to as "the signature series" whereas the entry level stuff might simply be cut CPK

Yes, certainly.Nathan will you let us know when the new stuff hits the market and give us previews as work progresses?
Excellent! I was trying to not weigh in with my opinion, but that is really what I was hoping you were going to say. Charge on boss, charge on!The new line will not be signed Carothers. What could/would/should the 2020 Nathan ask the 2040 Nathan and vice versa?
Hey Nathan the Machinist , was just curious if you had considered leaving the boot dagger guard exposed, similar to the Western daggers? And if so, why you didn't go that way? Personally I think it looks pretty cool exposed, but I know looks aren't everything.

It's all about that grip. You want a pronounced guard between your hand and that blade. ^ That exposed guard like that was a missed opportunity to build out some geometry between your hand and the blade. Particularly in a reverse grip.
