Inspired by, and expanding on, the brilliant work done by the great Stan Wilson, Stefano Nardelli made this knife he calls The Comanche. It differs from Stan Wilsons Non Flipper Flipper by eliminating the pivot from the flipping bolster. This prototype features a traditional lock back system, however his next build will showcase his new thumb release. I am thrilled to have received this from Stefano. It blows my expectations away. The fit and finish are quite impressive for a hobbyist knife maker. For a full review check out my instagram and youtube channel hkwinger. Enjoy!

That is quite a looker and a cool mechanism. I've dreamt about owning a Stan Wilson and seeing that I think I still prefer the way that the NFF disengages but ... damn, nice knife.

Nifty. Kinda reminds me of the CRKT Glide Lock mechanism combined with GTC’s piston flipper thing / Kershaw NRG’s similar mechanism.

Anyway, impressive mechanism. Can’t say I love the blade shape or finish, but, that’s not really the main focus of the item in question.

Wow that is a awsome knife!!! The action is definately cool, super slick! That thing looks very hefty and solid, crazy deep grind on the blade, that thing is pretty damn nice and unique. Definately somwthing different and special. Youve got youraelf quite a prize! Congrats!!:D:D

Very interesting indeed. Beautiful as well; it would make an excellent office carry for someone who lived in the right area. Think Texas.
