There are multiple offers now, so I will call this one trade pending.

I have one of the Medium Chopper Prototypes in the .190-.200 thickness with Ebonite handles available to trade for a Light Chopper. This is only available to trade for a Light Chopper since I have already given someone dibs for a sale. I am trying to help out a friend who really wants an LC, so I am not looking for any other trades.

But on to the knife! It is used. I used it for two weeks to get ready for the review I am in the process of writing. It is still in very nice shape and the edge is still shaving sharp and undamaged, and the handle is undamaged. The acid etch does show evidence of use. Even non-abrasive rubbing trying to get off sap and pitch proved enough to mark the blade.

I am posting the pictures as thumbnails so this post isn't ginormous. If you need even higher resolution pictures you can message me.

And in case you were wondering about my opinion on the Ebonite, I love it. It's my new favorite for working choppers. I would very seriously consider buying Ebonite scales for my work LC if CPK made them available. I am totally sold on the material. The difference is not so apparent in individual strikes, but after a day of chopping I definitely felt significantly less joint pain.

Hybrid micarta/rubber handles for the newer BCs and MCs. I used these on my practice blade in the back yard in prep for you-know-what. I cleaned them back up to new! These handles stick unlike anything you've ever used! I'd say they grip even better than Resiprene. I did not feel the need for a forward lanyard with these handles on my BC while practicing.

Now that, I'm not sure about. I think the protos had slightly different handle profiles than the recent releases. Maybe someone who is 100% sure can chime in. I do know they fit the most recent BC and MC releases in the last month or so.

These are SPF to you, of course pending whether they will fit your blade or not...
