Take your time brother, no worries. 2 cords, damn! That's what I need to do at the cabin. We burned wood most of the day Saturday, and the half day Sunday. Not much left.

'New' stove: Swiss Borde Kocher

Got it from an oncle of my gf last week when they cleaned out their apartment.
It's a cool piece of gear. Built the alcohol stove myself.

Taken on last weeks trip to France.
Camped at the town of Corcieux in les Vosges.
Beautiful surroundings there.
Lots of batonning there too

We had fun there.

I took the older son (about to turn 4 yrs old) camping this past weekend.
Woke up at about 5:00AM, still about 45degrees outside...

A pic of a fire doing the best thing a fire can do. Keeping the little ones warm. Luckily I had split up some kindling the night before, so it took less than 10 minutes to get a good rippin' fire going.

Of course, as the flames died down, the hot embers got to do the fire's other most important job... feeding the little guy. We've got a nice breakfast of mint tea, and a nice bowl of oatmeal going on this one.
